Ackuretta printers consistently produce dental models, aligner models, surgical guides, denture bases & teeth, try-in dentures, castable bridges & crowns, retainers, sleep devices, temporary crowns, indirect bonding trays, impression trays, splints, removable partial dentures. Anything and everything! It all depends on the type of the resin that you use.
We strongly suggest that you update your printer and Alpha 3D software before you get started.
The SOL and DENTIQ both come with a 2-year warranty. FreeShape 120 is covered by a 1-year warranty. Please refer to our warranty policy for more details.
We offer affordable and efficient printers with a dedicated team to provide support whenever you encounter an issue or need advice. Most parts can be easily replaced without you needing to send your printer to us. You can simply refer to our detailed maintenance video guides at any time.
Each piece you produce will cost anywhere between USD$1 and USD$3, depending on the material you use.
DENTIQ is the most definately the best printer for a casual user because it offers great performance with low maintenance at a more affordable price.
You can find the cost to produce each dental application here.
You have purchased your Ackuretta 3D Printer. You have learned how to use all the software and hardware. You have designed your print in Alpha 3D. Now, you are ready to print – which you can do remotely from your computer.
But how do you connect your printer?
You need to enable remote printing by activating a toggle. To activate this toggle, you have two options – a temporary toggle, or a permanent one.
Temporary Remote Printing
If you want your default setting to be remote printing off, then each time you print you will need to enable the remote printing function. To do this, when you are ready to print, this window will pop up. You need to slide the button to the left so that the printer is able to connect. Once your print is complete, the settings will return to their default, and remote printing will be disabled. The next time you are ready to print, you will need to change the settings again to enable the printer to connect to your computer.
Permanent Remote Printing
If you would like to permanently change the settings on your computer to enable remote printing, you can change the System Settings. In this window, the toggle will be to the left, which means that remote printing is off. To change this, slide the toggle to the right, so that remote printing is enabled. Once this is changed, it will remain this way. Each time you print after this, remote printing will remain enabled, and you will not need to change the toggle each time.
It takes approximately one hour to print a dental model with a 100 μm layer thickness on the SOL 3D printer.
SOL and DENTIQ are both specifically designed to be the best chairside 3D printers available. SOL has several technological features that make it stand out, though, such as a printing speed up to 4.5cm/hr which is much faster than that of other LCD printers. Due to the monochrome LCD, the light uniformity is 95% - resulting in unmatched accuracy. Through technological improvements to the UV light, we are able to decrease the need to replace any consumables on the printer, reducing the need for maintenance. Another advantage is the increased area of the build platform. SOL's build platform is 25% bigger than that of DENTIQ.
The SOL product page on the Ackuretta website shows all of the resins for which the 3D printer is calibrated. You can check the full list here (Updated September 5th, 2021).
You can find examples of the dental applications that the SOL can produce on the product page of the Ackuretta website.
The SOL flyer shows the the type of applications you can print and how many fit on the build platform at the same time. You can always download the flyer via the Resource Center on the Ackuretta website. You must have a distributor account to login.
It takes approximately one hour to print a dental model with a 100 um layer thickness and with CURO Model 3D printing material on the DENTIQ 3D printer.
DENTIQ comes from the evolution of our FreeShape 120 3D printer. We took all of the feedback we received about the FreeShape 120 users and built the DENTIQ around that. Please refer to this picture for more information.
All Ackuretta printers are pre-calibrated so it is not usually necessary for users to calibrate them.
You must use the Clean Vat function after any failed print.
You can use any 3rd party UV oven if you can configure it for the specific resin you want to use.
To stir the resin in your vat, we recommand that you use a soft object like a business card and stir the resin until it has an even consistency. Using sharp objects will damage the vat film so be careful!
We recommend printing with the hood closed so that your print is not affected by the ambient UV light and/or external contamination.
You can find the post-curing settings of our CURO resins on their respective product page.
If you shut down the printer during the print process, the printer pauses and will give you the option to resume the print from the last layer when you turn the printer on again.
The print result is normally good. However, there may or may not be one layer missing which can cause a delamination of the print.
You can use whatever object you are comfortable with to remove objects from the build platform. We recommend using a utility knife or a scrapper. You can also use a mallet for models.
You should shake your resin for at least two minutes by hand to mix it thoroughly and make sure the resin has the right consistency.
Before using a resin, you must shake the bottle for two minutes to make sure it is thoroughly mixed.
The firmware for the SOL 3D printer can be easily updated via the user printer interface if the printer is connected to a network. The Alpha 3D software is always available via the Ackuretta website.
You can use the Windows Uninstall function to completely remove the software provided by Ackuretta. Whenever you install the latest version of the software, it gives you the option to uninstall the previous version.
Once you have a complete 3D model, you can simply load it into Alpha 3D software, add the necessary supports, and then generate a print file which you then send to your 3D printer.
Most workflows for producing dental applications are essentially the same but different applications require different forms of post-processing. The workflows can sometimes also be modified to accommodate the user's preferences.
It's important to make sure that all objects are in a position so that there are no supports in fitting areas. Otherwise, you can put them in any arrangement on the build platform.
No calibration is required. Just turn on the printer, connect it to the internet, and you are ready to go.
DENTIQ & SOL are a hybrid open system, i.e. Ackuretta continually evaluates and validates carefully choses resin brands and adds to the Alpha 3D. Our goal is to have our printers calibrated for >150 resins by end of 2021.
You are always prompted to select a resin and layer thickness whenever you prepare the print file. You can also adjust different variables related to the curing process and save custom settings for any resin but this is only recommended for experienced users. Ackuretta 3D printers are designed to make the complete process as simple as possible.
You can start printing in only a few minutes if you have all of the necessary equipment. The printer is plug-and-play. With experience, preparing the print file takes less than five minutes.
The post-processing procedure consists of cleaning the print, removing supports, and then post curing the print for a few minutes in a UV box.
CLEANI is not an ultrasonic washer. The agitators at the bottom of each tank produce a vortex that effectivelly cleans your printed pieces.
When you recognize that the second tank is dirty, it's time to replace the cleaining solution. You can replace the fluid in the second tank and then cycle the tanks so that the clean fluid is now in the first tank.
We strongly suggest two specific tools for cleaning your 3D prints: The CLEANI dual-tank washer and a spray bottle. First use CLEANI to automatically clean your prints and then use the spray bottle for any parts that need extra attention.
Most resins require either isopropyl alcohol (99% solution) or ethyl alcohol (95% solution) for cleaning.
Please refer to the material (IFU) instructions for use about the optimal processes.
We strongly recommend cleaning your prints for at least three minutes in each tank but you can always clean larger or more complex prints for longer if required.
Most resins require either isopropyl alcohol (99% solution) or ethyl alcohol (95% solution) for cleaning.
CLEANI can usually clean most of the printed part but you should carefully inspect the part before considering it perfect. In most cases, it is not possible to automatically clean a part 100%.
Yes, CLEANI support both 220V and 110V input.
The dimensions of the CLEANI are 110 (L) x 225 (W) x 220 mm (H).
CLEANI has a standard 1-year warranty. You can find our warranty policy here.
Having two tanks gives you two specific advantages:
1. The ability to clean two different types of parts. This is especially important with bio-compatible resins that cannot be cleaned in the same tank as parts printed with a non bio-compatible resin.
2. The ability have a two-stage cleaning process, i.e. a deep clean and light clean. Using separate tanks like this can save 50% of alcohol because you can cycle the tanks so that only one is ever close to being excessivly contaminated.
Any submerged parts will start to degrade after approximately ten minutes in an alcohol solution. Please refer to the Instructions for Use (IFU) for best practices.
The biggest difference between CURIE and the Ackuretta UV Box is that CURIE is suitable for Class II materials with a validated workflow. CURIE is recognized by the FDA, EMA, and other international regulatory bodies and can be used to safely produce dental appliances to a high standard. CURIE is also a more user-friendly UV box with three different pre-calibrated UV wavelengths (i.e. 405nm, 385, and 365) for a large range of resins..
While the Ackuretta UV Box provides an excellent inexpensive curing solution, for up to Class I materials
Yes, the Ackuretta UV Box and CURIE support both 220V and 110V input.
The dimensions of the CURIE are 200 (L) x 220 (W) x 160 mm (H).
The Ackuretta UV Box dimensions are 216 (L) x 200 (W) x 150 mm (H).
The flash function of a curing box provides better penetration of the printed part, ensuring that the curing process is complete and thorough.
Having a mix-matrix LED curing solution improves the curing depth and curing speed. With the improved this curing performance, parts intended for oral use are non-toxic and other parts are less toxic.
CURIE has a standard 1-year warranty. You can find our warranty policy here.
Ackuretta UV Box has a standard 1-year warranty. You can find our warranty policy here.
CURIE has been officially validated by many resin companies, such as Dentona, Keystone, Straumann, Voco, DMG, NextDent and more. All of the default curing times for these resins are preloaded in CURIE.
Like most powered products, the lights in UV ovens do degrade over time. This wear and tear is normal and to be expected. The degradation of the LEDs in the Ackuretta UV Box and CURIE is only gradual over the first five years of usage.

After the post-curing process, all of our resins are safe and certified for their intended purpose. Please refer to the Instructions for Use (IFU) for detailed information.
If the environmental conditions are within a safe range, you can leave your vat with resin on the printer with the hood closed, ready and waiting for the next print. Otherwise, you can pour any unused resin back into an opaque bottle. Never pour resin back into the original bottle.
We strongly recommend that you do not try calibrate the resin yourself because calibrating the curing time for optimal speed, accuracy, and post-process is an exhaustive process.
Our printer can print most resins with a curing wavelength of 385 and 405 nm thanks to our wide curing window.
You can keep your resin in the vat after a print but you must make sure that it does not get contaminated. You must also stir it thoroughly again before starting another print.
3D printing materials are avilable online and through our local distributor in your region.
The material used in light-curing 3D printing is photosensitive resin, and it depends on a suitable wavelength. In technology, 385 - 405 nm wavelength can be functional for light-curing 3d printing.
All resins available from Ackuretta have a 2-year shelf life.
Nitrogen is not necessary when post-curing CURO resins. However, they do yield fractionally better results with the use of nitrogen.
IPA or Ethyl alcohol are necessary for cleaning prints made from CURO resins. They cannot be effectively cleaned with water.
All CURO resins are validated for usage with the CURIE. They are also compatible with other premium UV curing solutions such as Otto Flash, Dreve PCU LED, and NextDent Cure.
CURO Model and CURO Element resin are especially designed with thermoforming in mind. They do not show any signs of deformation due to the temperature and pressure that generated during the thermoforming process.
It takes approximately 10 milliliters of resin to print one arch. However, with wastage, you can expect to print approximately 70 arches from one liter of resin.
It costs between US$1.50 and US$2 to print one arch using CURO Model 3D printing material.
CURO Guide has been formulated to resist the force generated by a drill. With more than 1000 active customers using it for several years, it is proven to be safe and is certified to be a validated solution.
CURO splint is a hard splint material that remains hard, even during oral insertion.
CURO Temp has been designed for long-term temporary usage. Therefore, it can be safely used for up to 1 year in the mouth.
CURO Denture has been designed for long-term temporary usage. Therefore, it can be safely used for up to 1 year in the mouth.
